Got a chance to try out my new grinder. It's a .3 HP #10 Guide Series Meat grinder from Gander Mountain. Picked it up for under 40.00 S&H included on Ebay a couple of months ago.
I have to say I'm impressed. Ran about 15 pounds of pork, 10 pounds of venison and stuffed some polish sausage with it last night. Didn't bat an eye. Just spit it out. Used the medium plate. It's the same as my hand grinder. The fine, is super fine. Much better than the Waring Pro I was using.
I'll have to hone the blade. It's not hitting the plate correctly, but that's pretty common. Did a great job though, and never bogged down. Stuffing isn't the greatest with a grinder, but this did a way better job than the WP. I give it a thumbs up.
