    I found this on popular Mechanics website. His pitbuild is interesting. I especially like what he used to rig the damper control on the chimney. I don't use dampers on the chimney, I run mine full open. But anyhow, here is the link;

    Nice! Burner build info was good to. I thin I'd made the smoker a bit bigger! Feller does nice work!

    I'd like ta have one them, but I'm runnin outa room!

      Thats been part of my plan my entire life. Build a brick pit out back. Hopefully, someday it will happen. I see listings from time to time on Craigs List for free red bricks as long as you stack and haul.

      But your right, the smoker need to be bigger and the griller smaller. His temp gauge placement was typical, but I would have had 2 gauges mounted just above each grill.

      One of the great things about these brick pits is that weather very rarely effects them.

        What a great pit. I have plans in my head for my gazebo/outdoor kitchen and something like this is definitely in the plans!
