  • The correct usage of a french ceramic garlic grater

    [yt]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=30AtS--or3A[/yt]

    Job done :-)

These graters can also be used for nutmeg, root ginger, horseradish (rather you than me ) and apparently parmesan as well :-)

I only ever use mine for garlic.
Clean up is just as simple, you just rinse it under the tap and drip dry or a quick wipe with a teatowel.

I've had this one for about 7 - 8 years. And it works as well today as it did when I got it. The garlic paste produced is finer than you can get by just about any other method. Which gives you a stronger flavour in your food.

No home should be without one in my opinion :-)

My wife bought one from a joker at the state fair......Said she needed it for nutmeg...

"Dear...I have a grater for nutmeg...Oh never mind..."

Year and a half later its never been used...

I always thought those were some sort of fancy coaster.

So I take it from the accent you aren't related to the Windsor's?

              Nice work CA.
              .

Not to mention the occasional campfire

                    oh hell no !

I was born in gods own country - that's yorkshire to you heathens

The accent was acquired in part from my parents (one of whom was indeed born within the sound of bow bells) and partly from a generic forces accent you get from lots of different accents mixed up in forces schools.

I can do lots of other accents - next video I'll mix it up a bit :-)

                    LOve that ceramicgrater.com advert.

Now that I see how to use it I want one. Thanks for that. That link I posted is indicative of how a lot things are marketed nowadays. The fiance wanted a nu wave oven. It came with three "free" items. All you had to do was pay s&h of 9.99 each. Looking at each item I figure they owned them for about three dollars each. They wanted 29.95 to ship the oven to begin with. So what they want is almost 60 dollars in shipping to send about 15 pounds of stuff in one box. The person taking her order went on for minutes about how she should not pass on the free gifts. She ended up hanging up . We ordered it on line minus the free gifts and got free shipping.

yeah if you look around you should be able to find the kits: grater, garlic peeler and brush, for well under $10.

here ya go - less than $8 delivered

                        Even cheaper on amazon
Can't get it to show me the shipping on that without actually buying it.
