Can anyone tell me if Olive Wood is any good for smoking?
I have just heavily pruned the Olive Tree in my back garden and there is quite a bit of wood from it. Seems a pity to just burn it.
    Thanks

HaHa couldn't have burnt it until next winter (Southern) anyway. We have a total fire ban at the moment.

I have some and use it from thyme to thyme. I think it flavors somewhat like hickory+-.... Butt, there is NO WOOD that smells better during cooking than Olive IMO.
