  • Smoke Stack Size

    Hello all.
we are in the process of building a 500 gallon RF smoker and wondering what size pipe we should use for our smoke stack?

We built a 125 gallon one a couple years ago and used 4 inch pipe.

We are thinking about going with either 6 inch or 8 inch. let me know your thoughts.

    Thank you

This webpage might should give you the answer to your question.
    http://www.feldoncentral.com/bbqcalculator.html

Takes into account size of the cooking chamber, firebox, etc.
