  • fire bricks.

    When you guys build smokers do you use firebricks in them. Wondering if I need to or not in my propane smoker.

    Also thinking about painting if flat silver or gray and name it little boy maybe a fen on the back and paint a nuke symbol on it. Then when people ask me why it looks like that I can say it was a government decommissioned nuke from WW2

        I would not think you would need the bricks, the propane should recover quickly.. But you may need them for heat recovery in the winter time if you live in a colder area of the US..

          Sorry should have gave more info. I am doing a propane tank smoker with wood for heat and smoke.
