          These vortexes, how flexible are they? Could the large end be flexed into an oval shape to fit in the bottom of a Primo XL? If so what size do you think would work?

            They are pretty heavy duty stainless steel... dunno.

              They don't flex much, I think the Medium fits the Primo.

                Yeah, I'd be scared of trying to bend it. They're pretty tough. Like Mark sez, try the medium... might be the right way 2go...

                    Sigh... Bill had a guy with an XL try to get a decent fit with a Medium..never really worked out. Seema about the only ceramic they don’t work well in...


                    The small MAY be an option, but you will still have coal grate/cooking grate distance issues..IE they are short...
