  • What Cooking this Easter Weekend?

    It appears that we are haveing some DIL challenges that are preventing everyone to get together for a big meal. So I decided to take the day off and told the parents to drop the kids off for a easter egg hunt. So far so good......That means I have a choice to cook this 9lb rib roast or a double smoked ham for just the two of us.

    Was thinking about slicing the rib roast into steaks and grill the bones.........

    Doing 4 tri tips on the reverse flow. Be nice to fire it up since it's been about a year. . After my neck surgery last May my lifting restrictions were such that I wasn't even supposed to open the door to the cook chamber.

      Doing a tri-tip but normally i do them brisket style. This time around I am going West Coast style. Gonna reverse sear it something I haven't done in ages.
