      so i was watching man versus food nation last night. In the florida keys.
      A conch fritter eating contest. Although from what I could see there was only about 10% conch in the fritters and that whizzed to a paste. Didn't see much point in including it really

      When you going to smoke some conch (pronounced conk for some reason )

      Mangrove smoked conch sounds like something I could eat a lot of :-)

          CA it is "whizzed to a paste" because it is tougher than shoe leather...at best! It does add flavor though.
