Its been some time since I posted.
This year I went through 2 outdoor grills while living in my 5th wheel camper for work. Pretty much the grill is my main source of cooking, I don’t use the oven, barely use the cook top in the camper. I still like cooking over the open fire when family comes up for weekends.
This cheap hang on grill lasted longer then I thought, I got 2 summers out it ( it was gas ). Well it finally gave up the ghost.
On too the next grill, I tried a Coleman tailgater. It’s easy, fast, it portable, and I can cook breakfasts on it for the family. But I just couldn’t say I loved it...
NEXT.... so all summer I’ve been doing my research, I want a pellet grill. It can pretty much do everything plus more.
Now which one do I pick:
• it’s got to be portable
• the price is gotta be reasonable
• built good
• big range of temperatures
• square inches of cooking space
So I pulled the trigger on a Pit Boss tailgater. I love this little pellet popper, you can, dam near do everything, plus the hint of smoke flavor. I gotta say it built like a brick shithouse for its size. Only thing it’s got a 5 pound pellet hopper, I can live with that. But besides that I’m impressed...
Just to show how much room it’s got...
Keep on smoking....
