              Nicely done Jim... I can say you have made me see the light on enhanced products.. I do have one blessing here in Texas.. There is no shortage of Mexican Food / Meat Markets.. All they carry is fresh and for the most part for less than the other stores..

                Nice lookin grub there Jim...

                I just finished a case of IBP back ribs...Not impressed at all...Although unenhanced...They seemed like they were butchered by girl scouts...No...Girl scouts could have done better...(not bashing GS here)...Next case will be Excell...Always get good stuff from them...And if I cant buy natural pork...Then I will do without

                  Thanks folks,

                  It took me a while to understand the meat issue. I used to buy the tyson and other enhanced products. Didnt know better. Started reading and educating myself in regards to enhanced products and then on to factory farmed meats.

                  While ibp isnt my first choice it allows me to apprecite the local pork i get. A tip for those interested, and i know i am lucky to live in illinois, near iowa, michigan, wisconsin & indiana with plenty of livetock farms, google butcher shops in small towns within a couple hours of where you live. You can turn up farms & meat lockers who sell local stuff. Many only sell frozen, but typically fom my experience can get you fresh with a few days notice.

                  Gotta say I am surprised with all the folks who invest so much of their time cooking using inferior products: cheap(bad) meat, MSG laden rubs, storebought sauces loaded with HFCS, etc.
