  • Saturday Country Style Ribs

Been wanting to smoke something but I didn't want to sit on the patio in 109° heat tending the fire.

So I did some CSRs early. Nice short cook and tasty as well.

Rubbed with MHGP and a light dusting of brown sugar.

On the smoker ready for some pistachio smoke.

    Couple of hours in.

When they were hitting 165ish, I put them in a foil pan and covered with foil. Left them on until they hit 195ish -- 200ish.

    Done and ready to eat.

Pretty darn good if I do say so myself. Super tender and juicy.

    Thanks for looking.

      Only 109? C'mon Dave...

OK it's only 85 and humid here with no wind.
The no wind thing is messing with my rib cook

I haven't done a lot of smoking lately, but several weeks ago I caught a special on some CSR's...did enough for me and one of my neighbors...they raved about them, and I ate them for every meal for several days without getting tired of them. I'd do another stack of 'em right now too.

Eat up Dave, because those look awesome!
