Stopped by Safeway on the way home and picked up a package of drumsticks. There were 18 in the package.
Marinaded them for 45 minutes or so in some Basque Norte marinade.

This stuff is good on beef, chicken and pork.

Fired up the drum and broke out the drumstick racks.
Haven't used them in awhile.

Here they are after about 45 minutes.

And done and in the dish.


Pretty darn tasty and the skin was almost just getting crisp. I just need to coax a little more heat out of the drum. Either light more charcoal or put the charcoal basket on the bottom rack to get it closer to the meat. The thermo was hovering about 350ish. I would have preferred it closer to 400° but they came out pretty good just the same.
