  • Pizza Sauce on the kettle

With the garden doing so well I decided to make some pizza sauce for the winter. I grew everything that went into this.

First get everything cut up and ready.

    Now to the kettle

After a couple of hours cooking

Pureed and simmering on the stove

    Now into the jars.

I will be making pizza all winter long.

Here is my little smoking buddy

    Thanks for looking.

              Thanks Yall.

8-10 tomatoes remove skins and quarter
              1 bell pepper rough chopped
              1 onion chopped
              Fresh garlic to your taste
              salt and pepper to taste
I used fresh basil and oregano
1 cup sugar but use to your taste
Here is the key to good sauce Hot pepper powder just enough to make you say hmm thats a little warm. When on a crust you will never know but it locks all the other flavors together.

              2 cups water

Roast for a couple of hours remove puree and simmer to thicken

Place into hot Jars and into a water bath for 25 mins

              Then make Pizzas
