    Datil Pepper Sauce for Q

    I'm a pepperhead as I know others are around here as well. I had a friend who made some homemade datil pepper sauce and sent it to me. It's a pepper I fell in love with. The problem, they are somewhat hard to find and no way I can grow them out here. So, I went on a search for some commercial sauces and found the jackpot.

    I ordered the Outback Red and the Inferno. Both are Excellent!!

    I have no affliation with this company but wanted to pass this along to fellow pepperheads and/or datil lovers. The price is right and no refer storage is needed. I'm in heaven:

    My brother swears by them also. he does not live far from where they grow them and make sauces in Florida. he was living in green cove. now orange park. although I see a place in TN makes them also .

      Thanks for the link....I have not grown them and i am ordering seeds tomorrow and monday for next year....Will try- as i have been thinking of a new variety for this year....

        For Christmas, A guy that I work with bought me a pepper gift box that had Datil pepper sauce in it along with 4 or five others. It is my favorite of the group. I'll be checking this out too!

          Forgot all about Datil's....Granny Hall grew em, wuz just a pup when she did & that laugh when I bit into one... I plan on gettin some seed's...think my sandy soil & warmth will handle it.

            Have read about the Datils...never tried them...yet...so many peppers, so little time...

            Life is good if there is always another pepper/sauce to try...
