Like Mark said they seem a tad pricey. Sheep casings are more expensive than hog and seem to be getting higher in price every month. I buy in bulk just to get a better price. Casings will last in your fridge for years if stored right.

The places mentioned ship casings in and out very fast compared to the smaller distributors. What you want is good quality casings at a fair price. Nothing worse than stuffing cheap casings. Trust me been there done that. What you might consider is going in on a Hank of casings with members here in your area to reduce the cost's. A hank will, depending on what size you get stuff about 80-100 lbs. of meat. Like I said I buy in bulk and they keep for ever, i will be dead before all my casings are stuffed Salt them down and refridge for later and your good to go.

Yea it's pretty close. Can't speak for the quality. I've had real good luck with B&P both sheep and hog. I've had some problems with Sausage Maker sheep and a small batch of hog. Butt it is a critter gut soooo!
Give them a try and let us know. Always good to have another supplier.

I buy through Waltons and have been impressed with their collagen casings and also their mixes and service. Granted I haven't bought their sheep / hog casings everything else I have purchased from there has been top notch.

I've never bought Sheeps from Waltons but have ordered from them a few times and have been very happy with their products and service'
Before you buy, look at Syracuse Casings, you can get pre-flushed or salt packed, tubed sheeps for $41-49 and that includes shipping. Ya can't beat the tubed casings.

Click on any of the boxes that say "see details" on the left of the product description-"Packaging options" It appears that all of the casings that are 100 yds. are tubed http://www.makincasing.com/x/product...&cat=10&page=1
