    Not much for pics here just wanted to give some thanks. First the pizza brat. This was Devo's recipe found here.

    Let me just say this may be the best sausage recipe I've made. After the fry test I just wanted to keep making more patties. This I think would make a great patty with a bun and some pizza sauce. Just purely amazing! Thanks for sharing the recipe Devo.

    Now the other brat, Tas asked if anyone wanted to try a spice rub in a sausage. Found here.

    Ron was right its got a nice aroma. I mixed up 1kg of pork and spices. Then did a fry test to decide which route to go. It did have a smell that reminded me of a breakfast sausage. One bite and it was screaming stuff me into some hog casings! For a breakfast sausage I think its missing something but it would work. Ended up making just about 2kg of this for brats. Can't wait to get one on the grill. Gonna continue to play with this one cause I think its got some potential. No pics but they look very similar to the ones above. Thanks Ron! And thanks for looking.

    Ahsome, glad you liked them. My daughter and son in law empty my freezer for their back yard BBQ's and those always seem to disappear the most. Just wait till they get the bill in the mail

      I don't think these will last long. I had a couple blow outs linking and a little left over in the stuffer, bout one pound. Works out good cause the wife was gonna make lasagna tonight. So that will be the meat for it. Should be good

            Could be awhile, umm the wife kind of flipped out when I suggested making breakfast sausage tomorrow. She claims that's all we do or eat around here. not true though. I'm thinking we'll have Ron's brats for dinner tomorrow

            The pizza mix did taste good in lasagna
