  • Easy Bean Dip from cans basically.

Needed some grub for the Hockey games. Threw this together. Came out well. Totally open to spice it up your own way.
1 16oz can refried beans. I used black beans
1 cup jarred or fresh salsa
1 10.5 oz can pace nacho cheese sauce.
Those are the basics. combine those in a pot and heat through.

For added oomph on my end these got seasoned with chipotle powder, cumin, and a few drops of Aardvark sauce(habanero).

    Serves 3-4 easy.

    Sounds great, nice and easy.

My wife's mom (rip) used to make a killer dip that was similar. Her secret was to mix the salsa into the refried beans while they were heating and blend an avocado into a tub of sour cream in blender. So good. But I like yours for the simplicity

God bless you mate. You're basically the only one who likes my results. Exactly what I did was mix the salsa in with the beans while they were heating. And you've mentioned that sour cream avocado thing before because I've used the recipe. Makes a great sauce for chicken tacos.

Yeah, I missed that part when I was reading it initially. I bet this would be really good if you heated it up in a smoker, or over a live fire. Get a little smoke in it.
