  • Brisket, it's what's for breakfast!

I seriously love brisket and I've made it just for leftovers! Here is a brisket bowl I made. The gist of it was of course leftover brisket, eggs, potatoes, CHEESE and both honey mustard and ranch drizzled. I used the good ol' blackstone to throw it together. Was really good...

Well I'll give you this. there are a few cooks here who could definitely take a lesson in photography from you. I know I could.

And hell yeah cooking for leftovers is half the fun of cooking the original meal. When I make green chili I always make extra because I freaking love it over scrambled eggs.

I like any chicken breast dish. I often bake it with cheese in the oven. I also like to make pasta with brisket in a creamy sauce. Chicken meat is very versatile. It doesn't take long to cook and is delicious in any form. We rarely buy pork or beef because we don't like the taste. In addition to the main dishes, I try to please my family with homemade desserts. My kids love pancakes. I found a great recipe at palacinky.org. These are traditional Czech pancakes. They turn out very puffy and tender. I make them with different fillings: strawberry jam, honey, and sweet cottage cheese. Be sure to try this recipe.

I was excited to see some old names ( Hawg Heaven and Mark R ) that I havent noticed when I check in every so often, then realized this is a bump from 2020. I like chicken too but what the heck does that got to do with a beautiful Brisket Breakfast bowl....which does look mighty tasty.

Hawg retired and seems he is spending more time at the store he would help at on weekends, and Mark is off grid working one his new place that he purchased in Fl. I do see him on FB now and then he may be struggling a bit with bandwidth or IP speeds to surf the site..
