Chefs everywhere love to get inspired by Maldon. The distinctive taste allows them to be creative to their heart’s content. Many are introduced to Maldon during their training, and it soon becomes their one and only choice.
I think it is a great find for the forum and the misfits to bump their game up. And do check out the recipes. they look pretty good.

I always thought salt was salt. with or with out Iodine. seems I was wrong.

Tried the salt last night. have a bamboo salt container that you take a pinch of salt out and fling or drop over what ever. Did steaks and salad. steaks into the broiler (please forgive me) hit the steaks with the new found salt and took some pepper corn and cracked them with the meat mallet and put them on also. I did notice a different taste. much better. I am glad I bought both buckets at the estate sale. It looks like a forever supply. But am going to order the smoked salt..
