So...is there something special I need to do to get the free injector or does it magically appear when I add 3 marinades to my cart?

    Or is it over?

It doesn't appear anywhere so I called & ordered by phone & asked about it & was told that "customer service will take care of that". It arrived in 2 days & the injector was there but the invoice didn't show it.

I think they're pretty standard, Rich. Kind of square on the top. I like mine cause it has a sharp point, not the blunt end like the stainless one at Cabela's. My larger (4 oz) one has the rounded tip but all I have used it for was injecting a whole (108#) pig. Worked great.

I'm gonna put a point on mine before I use it. I'll use a diamond hone on it & it should penetrate the meat easier with the point on it.

I guess when I bought mine 15 years ago, they still trusted us with sharp objects. Only the large one had the blunt end, the smaller one like yours was the sharp needle. I guess they work fine either way.

I use this one.. had it for a couple years and still works great. For $15, if I have to replace it every 3 years, no biggie. Has 2 sizes of needles, one fat one and one skinny one:

That one looks nice. The one from the site Bassman posted is free with purchase of 3 marinades which are about $4.00 each. I have to say it is a sweet deal.

I just picked one up at Lowes recently....it's made by Butterball....stainless steel....seems to be well made, but then again, I've always used the cheaply plastic ones. Anyhow, it was only $10 so I couldn't pass it up...
