  • LEM, Grizzly, Northern, Etc. 5 lb sausage stuffer gears.

I stripped mine. But in their defense, I probably stuff 300 to 500 lbs of sausage a year and I use it as a cheese press too. Not the most friendly environment for nylon, trust me. I bought a set of the steel gears from LEM a couple years ago just to have handy, and still can't find them.
I posted here and with the help of several of you all, looked hi and low. Everyone that carries the steel gears has them on back-order. And the nylon gears are carried by The Sausage Maker, but like everything else from them, they are way over priced (steel gears from LEM are actually cheaper (if they have them)).
I was cruising the site of Mid-Western Research the other day (I've bought from them before), and thought to look for the gears. Well color me stupid if they didn't have them and they're only ten bucks.

I thought I read on another post that the LEM and other brands may not match up? I have a Kitchener from Northern Tool and I was thinking for some reason I read a post where someone got some LEM gears and they didn't fit on the Kitchener. Maybe someone can refresh my memory.

There are 2 different sets of gears. I believe the part number is 606-4.

In fact, here is RR's post about the project.
