    any one ever used HOLLY wood for there smoke? one of a couple woods here that grow local.

    heck, I would not mind smoking Sharon Stone.
    is this the kind of Hollywood were talkin about
    I know of no other.

      Holly berries are toxic- estimated 20 berries is fatal. I'm not trying it.

          heard of that to. its weird, but a lot of the hollies here don't make berries, males trees?

              No have not, just old thoughts I guess.
              I guess I can add we had a lot of cashew trees in central america. the cashew grew on the bottom of a big fruit. the fruit was okay to eat but the cashew was poison untill charred in fire, roasted I guess the wood poison when roasting you could not have the smoke get on you.
              would not take a chance untill you found out for sure about it.may be the local BLM or forest service might have info.
              I tried google as I guess you have. seems only hollywood in Ca comes up so far.

                  Danger-Dude I know where youre coming from on the Holly's, just to satisfy my own curiosity I burned some a couple years ago, and got sick just trying to smell the smoke..................... don't go there Please!!!!!!!!

                    think i'll take that as "the word". its just the only thing here. some crappy oaks. know of some pecans, but there old as hell and NOT to be cut on!
