      Hey. Mr Hunky,

I am planning on smoking a pork butt and some ribs and want to change up my usual methods. What do you got that I can pick up from your store?

        • Whatever Pit Boss account you have on your app, delete it. The reinstall the app
        • Create a new account and password
        • Follow the steps to set-up your new grill
        • Be sure you have a wifi network dedicated for 2.5 mghz
        • Enter your wifi network name and password
        • Follow the app screen prompts

After I did the above, my smoker was connected and I was able to control it from my app

I hope this helps anyone who had the same problem that I had.
i was going to suggest this...........

I got no magic for ya. Altho the GP Rub is well accepted as being pretty OK stuff for both those endeavours. A hint of heat. quality paprika, a LEETLE sweet... bare min there, because I don’t wanna lolly-pop...I wanna RIB!

As a SM noob... leave me a note if ya order... 15% off of products refunded to your payment method

Glad to see you got it fixed. Sorry, I was in Pismo Beach all weekend and did not see your post til now. It's kind of funny that Pit Boss is sending a new smoker controller when the app did not let you enter your network name and password. Clearly they don't have the slightest idea how all the moving parts fit together. Certainly not a controller issue.

How are you liking this unit now that you've used it for awhile?. I always enjoyed burning stick n coal but I really have been considering the PB850 for awhile now. My old Weber gasser is getting close to 30 years and its either buy some more parts or replace it. I like the pellet option.
