I let the soil warm up a bit here....I plant late may/early june....Does great in my heat with full sun....I have all i can handle by august.....mine will start getting seed pods by mid-late september....
Bad picture,but it is this size by early august..then it gets 2-3 feet tall and seeds....Basil is in the back
I let the buterflies lay eggs in it and the larvae eat the tops/seeds and make little butterflies for next year

When in June is that? I will be in the boundary waters canoe area (BWCA) from the 5th to the 20th. Would love to attend, put some faces to the names here LOL.

Low and slow with cherry/apple mix.....I really enjoy them....I hope i come back as a butterfly.....
They sure beat the dang white moths that lay the cabbage worms etc...I look pretty weird running thru garden with a butterfly net trying to kill the bastage....BT does the trick though
