MES 40" for $279

I was in my local SAMS club and I saw they have the 40" Masterbuilt Electric Smoker's on sale for $279 with free shipping. They do charge sales tax though. Still a decent price for the Bluetooth version.

I am buying that one tonight at the same price at our Sam's. Looking forward to learning how to best use it. I have been wood & charcoal for the last 15 years or so. Wanted a convenient way without the fire management for simpler cooks when there is no time to deal with the wood & charcoal.

It's also the one I have & use all the time now, except I got mine without the legs, and mine has 6 racks.

Damn, I want one for sausage/stix and general ease of use. I dont have a Sam's by me though. Wonder if any stores would price match? Any thoughts?

If you have a Bass Pro nearby, they are going to have their Redhead Sportsman Elite version of the MES 40 for $199 on Black Friday. In store only, no rain checks from 5am to 11am. I'm pretty certain it is the same as the MES 40 and just has the BP name and logo on the front.

Heck, I just googled the MES 40, and they have them on sale today at Academy Sports for $199. If you have one near you, that might be worth a try also. They can be ordered online, but it's $45 shipping (wow!). The photo is the non-blutooth version so I'm not certain if that is correct or if they just used an old photo on their website.
