Well have been meaning to share this one with you all but I kept forgetting to take pics each time through... finally got the camera ready from the start!!
This does not have rattlesnake in it... it just refers to the bite from the heat that sneaks up on you as you eat more and more! It is a fan favorite around here! Kinda took it from J-Alexanders if you have ever been there and has their version!
So here are the players for this dish! Not pictured are the milk and block of parm. Box of noodles.. I like the fettuccine noodles for this dish, jar of Alfredo, 1/3 cup of EVOO, 4 clove garlic, red pepper (that needs roasting), one bunch of green onions, 4 mushrooms, 5 sun dried maters, and 1+ teaspoon smitty's or more if you like... this was for the kids so I kept it calm..2 chicken breast grilled.

So we need to start with our chicken. I like to soak this in Italian dressing for about 5 hour first.

Grill them up and let rest.

While the chicken is cooking roast the red pepper as well.

Peel of skin and slice up.

Okay get a nice deep pan going with the oil, add the mushrooms, onions, sun dried maters, roasted red peppers, and smitty's. Cook until mushrooms are soft and cooked. then add garlic and cook for a few minutes.

Once you can smell the garlic cooking add a jar of Alfredo... I am not picky on brand here... get one you like...fill jar back up 1/2 way with milk and shake to clean jar and dump into the sauce. Stir until all combined and smooth.

Next dice up chicken in small bite size pieces pieces and add to sauce.

Bring to a simmer for about 10 minute and then let rest for ATLEAST 30 minutes.
While this was resting I figured I would get started on the cobbler. We had blackberries on sale for .89 for a container.. normally 2 bucks each... so I got 5.. dumped them in a pot with a bit of butter, sugar and lemon juice and cooked down for about 10 minutes.

Put into a round dish

Took 3 pack of oatmeal added to that brown sugar and melted butter and mixed up.

Put on top of berries and then into the oven at 350* for about 30-45 minutes.

Here is is on the way out!

Now back to the pasta... cooked it up until ALMOST the way I like it... took out of the water.
Put your sauce back over the heat and bring to a simmer and then ADD the PASTA to the sauce!

Mix up and let it sit for about 5 minutes. The pasta will cook a bit more and soak up the sauce and all that goodness!! It also thickens the sauce a bit.. I guess that is the starch coming off the pasta.

Now for the plates!
I like the fresh grated parm cheese for this dish, not the powder stuff...Add to it a nice piece of garlic bread and it is a meal.

Now for the final part... desert! A few scoops of ice cream and then the cobbler on top!! Oh it was so so good as well!!

Thanks to viewing and have a great night!!
