But I would agree with Aardvark and his opinion on Krispy Kreme.

Their donuts in the case are not good...but If I'm driving down the road and pass a krispy kreme with the light on...you know what that means...when the light is on the donuts are hot. Outta my way damn it cause i'll use you for traction...I'm getting me a hot one. It is a textural thing...the soft hot donut and the crusting glaze...awesome!

Oh, and Jerry...you had me at bacon!! Nice experiment!!

BTW, how is that little Cow dog doing? When they are good, they are awesome and when they are bad it can be awful...but I can't imagine being without one.

Thanks for the points. My little cow dog started chasing a deer and I haven't him since. It broke my heart but just yesterday I got 3 calls from people who saw him at the same place so I've been searching that area trying to find him fingers crossed. It has been a hard time. It took the wind out of my sails.

Thats what I was thinking but didn't want to say anything. The Krispy Kreme here is from the 40's and you have 4 choices. Plain, Chocolate, milk, and water. That's it.

We have two or 3 in the metro area, but they have a lot more choices. Maybe the locals here could take a lesson and slim down their menu to focus on a better product. It would be hard for me to go to Krispy when I got a place nearby run by a Vietnamese family that was trained by a French pastry chef. Best donuts and Bahn Mi bread you'll ever find.
