  • bacon wrapped burgers

sprinkled with tatonka dust getting ready for the grill. The dust is very good!

cooked in a cast iron skillet on the bge.

The Mrs. made some sweet potato fries baked in the oven. She is one of those that can eat a frozen box meal 99% of the time. After she made these she said, "these are really good, and doesn't have all the preservatives in them". I have been telling her that for years, she will be 60 next month.

Nice looking burgers, and the Dust and bacon had to make them fantastic.

We have been doing several different veggies in the oven, They turn out much better to me. A little evoo salt, pepper, sometimes Parmesan cheese bake at 350 for 30 min. or so.
onions, Brussels sprouts, mushrooms, broccoli, cauliflower, asparagus .

Looks great! Out of curiosity was the bacon cooked enough to your liking? When I have done that in the past, I par-cooked the bacon about 3/4 finished then I wrapped the par-cooked around the burgers and it finished up nicely on the grill... nice and crispy.

It was for me but I don't care for crispy bacon unless it's the super thin cut. This was my home made bacon and I have found the flavor to be way more intense if it isn't over cooked.
